About Cat Halsan

(she/her)

Hi! I’m Cat, a thirty-something queer celebrant and event planner with roots in Surrey, now dividing my time between London and Birmingham.

I spent the first 15 years of my career immersed in the LGBTQ+ housing and social care sector, where I had the privilege of collaborating with some amazing charities, community members and leaders across the UK.
This experience has given me a deep understanding of the beauty and complexity of Queer love, family dynamics, and the power of community solidarity.

It also taught me how to captivate an audience, take people on a meaningful journey, inspire them to connect deeply, and, of course, how to throw one hell of a party!

I pour this passion and insight into every ceremony, event, and project I take on. My aim is to celebrate and uplift all the wonderful aspects of life and love, using my skills to create something truly special for you.

I’ve had the joy of planning and hosting many events, and now I’d love to plan yours. If you’re looking for someone to make your occasion memorable and full of queer joy, let’s work together to bring your vision to life—you won’t be disappointed!

let’s talk about your special day

“With over a decade working in and being part of the lgbtq+ sector in many different capacities, Cat really understands the complex relationships that can happen within the community. She is creative and tenacious. Her sense of drive and organisation makes her perfect to plan and run events.”
